How we can help

Dr. Anthony S. C. Lai, Founder and chief consultant of Respine Hong Kong, is a registered Gonstead chiropractor in Hong Kong and the United States.
The Gonstead Methodology is effective in treating various spinal conditions through its competent diagnostic protocol.

Radiography:
After an initial chiropractic assessment, Dr. Lai will determine if further diagnostic imaging (X-ray and/or MRI) is necessary to analyze your condition before advising a suitable treatment plan. A report of findings is provided on the second visit where the diagnosis summary and recommendations are explained to the patient.

Chiropractic Treatment:
chiropractic treatment mainly consists or manual Gonstedd adjustments performed by Dr. Lai, to correct vertebral subluxations and misalignments in the spine. First treatment usually begins on the second visit after the report ol findings. Supportive care is also provided in the form of rehabilitation
exercises, cervical correccive orenocc Denneroue and custom Insole orcnocics
Zehnkampf® if necessary. These are especially important when it comes to stabilizing the patient’s condition for a full and long term recovery.

Progress Assessments:
Progress assessments are important throughout chiropractic care. Depending on the patient’s condition, progress assessments are performed every 3-5 visits to ensure maximum recovery. Targets and goals are set at different checkpoints to allow modifications to the care plan if necessary. Supportive care can also be added when patients reach such checkpoints to further strengthen and stabilize their spine. Gonstead chiropractic aims to provide a long term structural correction rather than a temporary relief of symptoms.
